In Mato Grosso do Sul, 57 municipalities are under low humidity alert, varying between 20% and 30%. The statement issued by Inmet (National Institute of Meteorology) should continue until 7 pm this Sunday (21).

Campo Grande, Dourados, Corumbá, Camapuã, Coxim, Rio Verde de Mato Grosso, São Gabriel do Oeste and Três Lagoas are some cities that are on the list. The weather forecast indicates that the day will be sunny, with a predicted maximum of 35°C in the State.

Another warning is for heavy rains, which includes 17 cities in Mato Grosso do Sul. The possibility is of rain of up to 50 millimeters in the day, with winds of up to 60 km/h.

Inmet meteorologist Andrea Ramos explains that a cold and dry air mass is acting in the state, which is causing low humidity.

“There are two warnings, one for low humidity and another part for heavy rain. We are operating a cold and dry air mass, which promotes this dryness”, he highlighted. Still according to the professional, the ideal humidity index is between 60% and 80%.

The institute itself gives instructions to improve health on days like this. Drink plenty of fluids, avoid physical wear and tear in the driest hours; It is
