Trade exchange between Iran and the European Union recorded a growth of 30%, according to what the European Commission’s statistics center “Eurostat” announced.
The center stated, “The total trade exchange between Iran and the 27 member states of the European Union, in January and February of this year, amounted to 847 million euros.”
According to the Iranian Mehr Agency, Eurostat reported that “European Union imports from Iran, in the first two months of 2024, amounted to 144 million euros, recording a growth of 3% compared to the same period last year.”
According to the center’s data, “European Union exports to Iran, last January and February of this year, amounted to 703 million euros, recording a growth of 9% compared to the same period last year.”
According to the center’s report, “in February 2024, trade between Iran and Europe grew significantly by 30% and reached 468 million euros.”
The data stated that “European exports to Iran increased by 32% during the month of February compared to the same period last year, and amounted to 392 million euros, as the value of European exports to Iran reached 297 million euros in February of last year.”
