The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan responded to the statements of RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Vienna yesterday.
“If Armenia is interested in peace, stability and security in the region, it should stop hypocrisy and manipulations, fulfill its international legal obligations in order to successfully complete the peace process,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
“The fact that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, instead of showing respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, obstructs the peace process under the pretext of the rights and security of Armenians living in occupied Karabakh, which has been occupied for nearly 30 years and where ethnic cleansing of Azerbaijanis has been carried out, proves about the real intentions of the Armenian authorities,” the statement said.
