The American corporation Microsoft is going to add new features based on artificial intelligence to the Paint application, including the ability to generate pictures from a text description. It is reported by Windows Central, citing sources within the company.
The new features will be based on the capabilities of Bing Image Creator, and will only be available in the Windows 11 version of Paint. The image editor may include an AI sidebar and a Magic Paint button: the user will enter a description of the desired image, after which Paint will suggest its options, which can then be move to workspace and edit.
Also, new AI features may appear in “Photos”, “Scissors” and “Camera”. In “Photos” it will be possible to identify people in the photo, cut them out and paste them into other photos. In “Scissors” and “Camera” it will be possible to recognize text in screenshots and images.
