The Popular Mobilization Taekwondo team has begun its training units in preparation for the tournaments it intends to compete in in the coming months.
The team’s coach, Mahdi Saleh, said in a statement to the Popular Mobilization Club received by the (INA), today, Friday: “The Popular Mobilization Taekwondo team will participate in a group of tournaments in the second half of this year, as the first participations will be in the Iraq Club Championship for the youth category and the Martyrs’ Championship.” For applicants at the end of next June.
He added, “The team will also participate in the Baghdad Championship, which will be sponsored by the International Federation of the Game, and at the end of the year it will participate in the Iraq Club Championship, in addition to the players joining the youth team in preparation for the Asian Championship qualifiers.”
