/ The Iraqi national team began its training, this evening, Saturday, at the training fields of the Sports City in Basra, in preparation for meeting the Philippine national team in two home and away matches in the double qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup finals.

Today’s training was attended by (14) players, including: Jalal Hassan, Ahmed Basil, Muhammad Saleh, Amir Al-Amari, Hassan Abdul Karim, Zaid Yassin, Muhannad Ali, Abdul Razzaq Qasim, Dargham Ismail, Mustafa Saadoun, Ali Jassim, Louay Al-Ani, Saad Nateq, Manaf Younis.

It is hoped that the rest of the professional players will arrive tomorrow, namely Muntadhar Majid, Osama Rashid, Rebin Sulaqa, and Ahmed Yassin, in addition to Ayman Hussein and Ibrahim Bayesh.

While Mirkhas Dusky, Youssef Al-Amin, Safaa Hadi and Bashar Rassan will arrive on Monday, the last to arrive on Tuesday will be France Zia, Hussein Ali and Zidane Iqbal.
