MP Gor Gevorgyan asked RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan today if the information that “Yucom” company is negotiating with “Beeline” regarding the purchase of the mentioned brand is reliable.
The Deputy Prime Minister clarified that the formal process has already started.
“An application was submitted to the Public Services Regulatory Commission regarding the purchase of “Beeline” by the “Yucom” company. The PSC should conduct an analysis. The Commission’s initial position is that all currently available frequencies should always allow third-party access. But this unification can be more problematic from the point of view of TMSU. By combining all the opinions, we will have a final answer whether this unification is possible. This will be a difficult process,” Avinyan said.
The Deputy Prime Minister assured that an analysis of the markets will be done to find out the financial condition of the companies. Everything will be done to avoid the formation of monopoly services.
