On April 16, the Azerbaijan State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons held a drawing of lots with the participation of families who will be resettled in the city of Fizuli at the next stage.
As Day.Az was told in the committee, the event was attended by senior officials of the state committee, representatives of the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the territories liberated from occupation, included in the Karabakh economic region (with the exception of the Shusha region), the executive power of the Fizuli region and the Public Council under the state committee.
The draw was held among 156 families. In accordance with the composition of the family, 59 of them will be provided with two-room apartments, 80 with three-room apartments, and 17 with four-room apartments.
Former internally displaced persons, who will soon return to their permanent place of residence in the city of Fuzuli, noted that they feel great joy and expressed deep gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the conditions created in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as for attention and care provided.
Families who participated in the draw will go to the city of Fizuli in the coming days.
