In the Khabarovsk Territory, 250 kilograms of black caviar and at least 20 kilograms of sturgeon fish meat were seized from poachers. This was reported in the regional investigation department of the RF IC.
According to the version of the investigation, three local residents, acting in a preliminary conspiracy, illegally caught, transported and stored fish of especially valuable species and fish products.
On September 22, during operational activities with the participation of the FSB of Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory and employees of the Russian Guard, the men were detained red-handed. They unloaded sturgeon and caviar from the boat.
The issue of placing suspects in custody is being resolved. In the criminal case, which was initiated under Part 3 of Article 258.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, investigative and operational actions are being carried out.
