Next comes the leader of the newly founded right-wing party “Nemunas rytasusma” Remigijius Žemaitaitis with 12.99% of the vote, the independent candidate lawyer Igns Vēgēle with 11.97% of the vote and Prime Minister Ingrīda Šimonīte from the conservative party “Tēvzemes vievina – Lithuanian Christian Democrats” with 11 .89% of the vote.

The independent candidate doctor Eduards Vaitkus won 7.32% of the votes, Daiņus Žalims from the liberal Freedom Party in the ruling coalition – 2.48% of the votes, Andrjus Mazuronis, the leader of the opposition centre-left Labor Party – 1.64% of the votes, and former Deputy Defense Minister Giedrims Jeglinskis from the opposition centre-left Democratic Union “On behalf of Lithuania” – 1.28% of votes.
