After counting the votes in 1008 out of 1895 precincts, it was found that Nausėda won 49.63% of the votes. If Nausėda does not receive at least half of the votes, a second round of elections will be held on May 26, in which he will compete with the runner-up.
Next comes the leader of the newly founded right-wing party “Nemunas rytasusma” Remigijius Žemaitaitis with 12.99% of the vote, the independent candidate lawyer Igns Vēgēle with 11.97% of the vote and Prime Minister Ingrīda Šimonīte from the conservative party “Tēvzemes vievina – Lithuanian Christian Democrats” with 11 .89% of the vote.
