In the midst of the live broadcast: who disturbed the reporter in front of the cameras? | watch

A video posted on the Instagram account of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a non-profit wildlife rehabilitation center in Nairobi, Kenya, showed KBC TV reporter Alvin Patterson Kaunda standing with a herd of elephants behind him.

Everything seemed calm at first, but the broadcast quickly took a turn when one of the elephants standing behind the broadcaster decided to sniff Kaunda while he was in the middle of the live broadcast. “They say charity comes first from home, and for these orphaned elephants, the charity fund is what they see as home,” the reporter said. “This is the place where they discover and learn the lessons of life, experience love and deal with loss.”

Kindani, the 4-year-old female elephant, started sniffing the man’s hair with her trunk, and he was seen trying to ignore the huge animal and didn’t seem bothered, but as soon as the elephant turned to Kaunda’s face and covered it with her trunk – it made him burst out laughing.

The viral video received more than 63 thousand likes on the association’s Instagram page, while surfers were not only amused by the incident, but were also impressed by the journalist’s ignoring skills – which did not last too long.
