Al-Marsad Newspaper: Infection control consultant, Dr. Maha Al-Alawi, revealed the danger of seasonal influenza, noting that it may lead to death.

And she said during her intervention with the “Rased” program broadcast on Al-Ikhbariya channel: “The elderly who are over 65 years old, children under 5 or 6 years old, pregnant women, diabetics, and asthma suffer from weak immunity, and their infection with seasonal influenza may lead to Admission to intensive care or death.

She indicated that a mother and her daughter had died of seasonal influenza.
