This space offers a wide range of services, from drinking water to document processing, at extended hours for the greater convenience of users.
Last Wednesday, April 24, 2024 marks the official opening of a new EMAPAR Agencia Norte collection point, located on Av. Canónigo Ramos, within the city’s Intercantonal Terminal, this establishment offers a full range of services, from water drinking water to document processing, for the benefit of all users.
With ample and convenient opening hours, the administrative part will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., while the operational part from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. In addition, it has a customer service point to facilitate interaction with users.
Nelson Muñoz, Manager of EMAPAR, highlights the importance of this initiative for the economic reactivation of the area: “An important thing is to reactivate the economy in the sectors. We had a practically abandoned Intercantonal Terminal. Now, thanks to inter-institutional agreements between the municipality and the company, we have invested $7,000 to provide services that were previously not available.”
Muñoz also highlights the significant savings that this investment represents: “We are going to save $1,600 dollars per month thanks to this new agency, which will allow us to reinvest in further improving services for citizens.”
In addition to EMAPAR’s traditional services, the agency will also house a collection and citizen service office for the municipality, allowing citizens to carry out procedures such as paying taxes in a more accessible and convenient way.
With this new opening, it is expected to not only improve efficiency in the provision of services, but also provide new economic opportunities for the local community.
