On April 29, 2024, the Ministry of Public Works in Riobamba began patching days on the city’s roads.
The Ministry of Public Works has begun road maintenance in the city, with the aim of improving the conditions of the streets and guaranteeing the safety of citizens. The work began last Monday, April 29, with the milling of Av. Canónigo Ramos, near the Sesquicentenario Park.
Milling, the initial stage of this project, consists of removing the damaged pavement to subsequently proceed with filling and compaction, thus ensuring an optimal and durable surface.
The Ministry authorities have confirmed that these activities will extend throughout different sectors of the city, prioritizing those roads that have the greatest maintenance and repair needs.
The main purpose of these sessions is to provide the inhabitants of Riobamba with quality road infrastructure that promotes the safety and well-being of the community.
These actions are expected to contribute significantly to the comprehensive development of the city and improve the mobility experience of its residents.
