Harare: India won the second ODI against Zimbabwe by 5 wickets to clinch the series 2-0.

India won the toss and opted to bowl in the second ODI of the three-match series today.

Zimbabwe scored only 161 runs in their innings with the loss of all wickets in 38.1 overs. In that team, Shaun Williams added 42 runs and Ryan Burl added 39 runs. Innocent Gaya and Raza scored 16 runs each. The rest lost the game by single digit runs.

Shardul Thakur bowled very well for India and took 3 wickets. Siraj, Prasidh, Akshar, Kuldeep and Deepak Hooda took one wicket each.

Set a simple target of 162 runs, the Indian team won by 167 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 25.5 overs. Sanju Samson batted brilliantly and scored an unbeaten 43 runs. Shikhar Dhawan and Subman Gill scored 33 runs each and Deepak Hooda scored 25 runs. Ishan Kishan was dismissed for 6 runs and KL Rahul for one run. Axar Patel was unbeaten and added 6 runs. Sanju Samson was adjudged the man of the match.

With this victory, India won the 3-match series 2-0.
