This action, costing a total of 6,583,400 DH, aims to support schooling in rural areas as part of the INDH program, which focuses on boosting human capital among younger generations. The initiative was announced during the laying of the foundation stone for a new high school in the commune of Bizdad, coinciding with the 48th anniversary of the Green March.
These support sessions target students from the 3rd to 6th year of primary school, first and second year of baccalaureate, and 3rd year of middle school. They cover the school years 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024, and benefit students from 16 rural communes in the province.
The Provincial Committee for Human Development in Essaouira has prioritized education in the province, as evidenced by the achievements and projects implemented during the third phase of the INDH program. This focus has led to a significant increase in the coverage rate for preschool education, which currently stands at over 86%.
