In India, 25,920 people have been diagnosed with corona in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry. The number of cases has come down from 30,757 yesterday to 4,837 today.
In the last 24 hours, 66,254 people have recovered from corona infection, bringing the total number of people recovering from corona in India to 4,19,77,238. Thus the recovery rate from corona in India is 98.12% which is 0.9% higher than yesterday.
Across the country, 2,92,092 people are being treated for corona virus infection. The proportion of those treated is 0.68%, down 0.1% from yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 492 people have died in India due to the corona virus. The death toll has dropped slightly from 541 yesterday. The total number of corona deaths in India so far has increased to 5,10,905. The mortality rate is 1.19%.
At the same time, 174.64 crore vaccine doses have been given to people across the country so far. Of these, 37.86 lakh have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 12,54,893 corona were tested in India, of which 25,920 were confirmed to be infected with the corona confirmation rate, which is 2.07 per cent. It is noteworthy that yesterday the rate was 2.61.
