India-Pakistan rivalry; Traffic control on major roads in Dubai

by time news

After India’s resounding victory in the first match of the Asia Cup Cricket, the city is all set to welcome the second India-Pakistan match in Dubai today. As one of the most exciting matches of the Asia Cup, the Roads and Transport Authority has announced traffic restrictions on the main road in Dubai to control the crowd of fans.

Heavy traffic is expected on Hessa Street near Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road intersection from 3pm to 11pm today. Therefore, the authority has warned that the motorists should use other alternative methods to avoid traffic jams. The match will be held at Dubai Sports City.

RTA suggests to use Umm Suqeem Street to reach the stadium. Meanwhile, residents of Dubai Sports City can use Al Faye Road as an alternative route, RTA said.
