Singapore: India ranks 4th with 24 companies in Forbes Asia’s 2022 list of top 200 mid-sized companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
The list further states:
India was ranked 26th in this list in 2021. China is at the 5th position after India with 22 companies. Taiwan has retained the top spot for the 9th year in a row with 30 of the largest companies in the Forbes list of medium-sized companies in the Asia-Pacific region. Japan is 2nd with 29 companies and South Korea is 3rd with 27 companies.
As far as India is concerned, Dollar Industries, which is engaged in the manufacture of garments, has recovered rapidly from the impact of Corona and registered a sales growth of 30 per cent in the financial year 2021-22 that ended last March and its net profit increased by 72 per cent. This is stated in the list.
