Hyderabad: India scored 421 runs for the loss of 7 wickets at the end of the 2nd day in the first innings of the first Test against England.

England lost all wickets for 246 runs in 64.3 overs in the first innings of the Test match being played at the Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. Ben Stokes 70, Jonny Bairstow 37 and Ben Duckett added 35 runs. Ashwin and Jadeja took 3 wickets each for the Indian team.
