New Delhi: Mukesh Ambani has said that technological advances will make India a leader in new energy.
He added:
Current technological changes will transform India into a leading country for new energy. But, it doesn’t happen overnight. Coal, and imported crude oil, will remain dependent for another 20 years. In another twenty years, we will have to get rid of these dependencies. Then, India will emerge as the largest exporter of clean energy worth Rs 37.50 lakh crore.
For the last twenty years, India has become a ‘super power’ in information and technology. Over the next twenty years, energy and biology will become superpowers. I have no doubt about this.
Above all, the government has been providing unlimited support for new energy, he said.
