Mumbai: Indian born and raised cricketer Pushkar Sharma is very popular in the African cricket circuit. An all-rounder, he got a chance to play for Kenya’s national cricket team. He got an opportunity to play in the ICC T20 World Cup Africa Regional Qualifier A held last November.
A left-handed batsman and bowler, he scored 841 runs in 14 innings in the Nairobi Regional Cricket Association Super Division League last year. He has also taken 228 runs and 5 wickets in the African Cricket Premier League series (Kenya). With that he has got the attention of fans and cricket experts.
