Nathan Eismont, a leading researcher at the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, ruled out the possibility of photographing the wreckage of the Russian interplanetary station Luna-25 using the Indian lunar rover Pragyan.

According to the expert, the lunar rover simply will not be able to get to the site of the fall of the “Moon”. In addition, it does not have a shooting function.

“Such a task can be accomplished, but … it should be a different apparatus, much more complex and expensive,” Eismont added.
