Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has praised India’s foreign policy for not being dictatorial.
Pakistan’s Supreme Court has ruled that the president’s order dissolving parliament is invalid and that the Imran Khan government must face a no-confidence vote.
Addressing the nation last night, Prime Minister Imran Khan said he respected the judiciary but regretted the Supreme Court’s verdict. He said the opposition was involved in horse-trading and would never allow this. Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that no country dictates on India’s foreign policy and praised Indians for having self-respect.
Imran Khan also said that India could not be ruled by any superpower. But Imran Khan accused the US of pushing for his removal from power, and expressed concern that international conspiracies posed the greatest threat to Pakistan’s democracy. Imran Khan has stated categorically that he will not accept a government imported by the United States and called on the people to take to the streets and fight.
