India is set to assume the chairmanship of the G20 in December. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the logo, theme and website yesterday. The theme is based on one earth, one family, one future. Then Prime Minister Modi said:

The G20 logo echoes global harmony. India will chair the G20 in December.

I would like to congratulate the people of the country on this historic occasion of India assuming the presidency of G20. The symbol of the G20 organization is not ordinary. It’s everyone’s feeling.

India currently chairs the G20. During the 75th Independence Day celebrations, India took the lead.

After the independence of the country we started our journey towards development. It includes the efforts of all governments in the last 75 years. All the governments, the citizens, and the people have been working towards the development of the country. The logo and motif represent our heritage.

India has taken the lead in global issues. The G20 countries contribute 85 percent of global GDP. Nature and development can travel together. India leads all in development.

The G20 decides 75 percent of the world’s trade. He said that the aim is to introduce our heritage to the world.
