Vehicle Sales in India Soar to New Heights in November
According to a recent statement from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), vehicle sales in India reached a record high in November of last year. The total retail sales of vehicles in the country last November was 28,54,242, marking the highest ever monthly vehicle sales.
Comparing this to the numbers from November 2022, the overall vehicle sales in November of last year saw an 18 percent increase, with the retail sales of passenger vehicles reaching 3,60,431, an increase of 17 percent. Two-wheeler sales also experienced a significant boost, jumping by 21 percent.
The surge in vehicle sales has been attributed to various factors, including the festival of Diwali and the launch of new and attractive vehicle types by manufacturers.
While the sales of two-wheelers and passenger vehicles reached new highs, the sales of 3-wheelers also saw a notable increase, rising by 23 percent compared to November 2022. However, sales of Tractors took a hit, falling by 21 percent, and the retail sales of used vehicles also declined by 2 percent.
The overall increase in vehicle sales in India last November reflects a positive trend in the country’s automobile industry, indicating growing consumer confidence and demand for new vehicles.
