Rahul Patia, the new Managing Director of Indigo, has said that he intends to further expand international airlines.
Rahul Patia, one of the founders of low cost airlines Indigo, has been unanimously elected as its Managing Director. With Air India now being transferred to Tata, Indigo plans to expand its flights to Russia and European countries to compete with the company.
Indigo is reportedly considering buying an Airbus A321 XLR with a range of up to 8,700 km.
