There cannot be nationwide mourning, lamentation and sorrow, and lavish state celebrations next door. This is unnatural.
On September 19-20 in Artsakh, the Armed Forces of Artsakh stood against the 60,000-strong Turkish army, good soldiers and decent people, and they understood very well that the government that says “Artsakh is Armenia and that’s it” will leave them alone. There were no deserters and no prisoners in Artsakh on September 19-20. It was an unequal battle, perhaps the last battle, but a dignified battle, and the Azerbaijani army suffered extremely serious losses.
Against this background, the medals and orders given by this government in Yerevan can be roughly described as “the battle crescent on the occasion of the fall of Artsakh”.
There is no hope from the giver, there is no need to expect anything else from him, but among the recipients, I think, there are people who will have heavy inner feelings tomorrow.
