Pakistan’s star wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan and India’s Cheteshwar Pujara played together for Sussex at the recent County Championship in England.

Rizwan, who has returned to Pakistan due to Pakistan’s plans to play against the West Indies, was interviewed by reporters about his role with Pujara, he said.

He said both Indian and Pakistani cricketers want to play against each other.

He added that Pujara had told him, “Cricketers from Pakistan and India want to play against each other, but issues beyond our level are not in our hands.”

Currently, the Indian team is playing against Pakistan only in the ICC series.
