Thales Alenia Space is the prime contractor of the program and is responsible for the design, construction, testing and delivery of the satellite, as well as the initial phase of orbital positioning (Leop) and in-orbit tests (Iot). Thales Alenia Space will also provide the ground control segment and provide on-site training and support to the customer’s engineering team. In-orbit support will also be provided for the entire life cycle of the satellite.

Based on the 4000B2 platform of Thales Alenia Space, Hts 113BT it will provide more than 32 Gbps of capacity throughout the Indonesian territory. The satellite weighing around 4 tons at launch will be completed in early 2024 ed will have a life expectancy of 15 years.
