Last December, IndusInd Bank’s net profit increased by 58 percent.
A statement issued by the bank said:
The bank’s net profit for December 2022 was Rs 1,964 crore. This is a 58 percent increase compared to the previous month of December 2021.
The bank’s net interest income increased by 18 per cent to Rs 4,495 crore during the assessment month.
Other income of the bank increased to Rs 2,076 crore in the 3rd quarter of the current financial year from last October to December. This was Rs 1,877 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Similarly, the bank’s total fee income increased by 11 percent to Rs 2,077 crore, the report said.
