You can’t easily download other people’s videos on Instagram. With the right tools, a download is still possible. That’s how it’s done.
Some videos uploaded to Instagram are too funny, informative, or interesting not to download immediately. This saves it to your device and allows you to access it even if the video is no longer available on Instagram. But how does it work and what should you pay attention to?
How to download videos from Instagram
There are now a whole range of apps and websites that help users download videos from Instagram. In the first step, a distinction is usually made as to which device the video should be downloaded from.

- Open Instagram either via your browser or in the app and log in there.
- Copy the URL from the Instagram video you want.

- Now download the video.
The video will then be in the location you selected.
Where do I find the video URL in Instagram?
First, find the corresponding video or reel in Instagram that you want to download and open it. You will then see a toolbar at the bottom right of the app. There are three points here.
Click on it and select “Link”. Now the link is saved to the clipboard and can be easily copied. You can find the URL in Instagram for the corresponding video under the share arrow.

Videos and Reels on Instagram can be easily distributed using the share function. Instagram ensures that the creator or author of the video is always listed.
