It starts with Anna Delvey, 25 year old with mysterious origins – she says she is a German heiress – who becomes the protagonist of the New York jet-set. Luxury hotels and private planes, very expensive clothes, parties and phantasmagorical projects. Until the house of cards collapses. Anna is not called Delvey but Sorokin, and the daughter of a small Russian entrepreneur who is having a hard time. And yes: he made it all up. But once he discovers the scam he doesn’t give up.
