Sunrisers Hyderabad are showing interest in Tamil Nadu players in the mega auction for the 15th season of IPL.

The mega auction for the 15th season of IPL is taking place in Bangalore starting today at 12 noon. Ishant Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Sahar, Lucky Ferguson, Prasidh Krishna, Herschelle Patel and Vanindu Hasaranga were priced at over Rs 10 crore, while Raina, Smith, Miller, Matthew Wade and Shakib Al Hasan were not.
The Sunrisers, who had not picked any players for a long time, took Rs 10.75 crore to bid on other teams since the auction began. Wicket-keeper – The batsman gave him a large sum and took it. Only three captains, Williamson (Rs 14 crore), Abdul Samad (Rs 4 crore) and Umran Malik (Rs 4 crore) were retained by Sunrisers before the auction for Rs 68 crore.
However, the Sunrisers did not throw away the crores but focused only on the players they needed and showed interest in the Tamil Nadu players. Tamil Nadu spin all-rounder Washington Sundara has been paid Rs. Sunrisers have bid Rs 8.75 crore and fast bowler T Natarajan from Tamil Nadu for Rs 4 crore.
Natarajan has already played well for the Sunrisers and contributed to many victories. The Sunrisers have taken him as the team’s set player. Sunrisers’ bowling coaches Muttiah Muralitharan and Laxman speak Tamil and it is easy for them to work with Tamil players.
Besides, since the owner of Sunrisers Hyderabad is a Tamil, more importance is given to Tamil Nadu players.
