Chennai: Chennai Super Kings fans are doubly excited as it has been decided to hold the IPL matches in home and away mode next year. CSK fans are waiting to see captain MS Dhoni’s matches once again. Last season, MS Dhoni had said that he cannot end his cricket career without reaching Chennai and saying goodbye to his fans.
MS Dhoni is the head of Chennai. The hero since the first season of IPL. Cup four times. And twice the Champions League trophy. Dhoni is a beloved captain who has brought many achievements to CSK. Even after retiring from international cricket, Dhoni is still with CSK. The IPL matches were held only at selected venues during the Covid-19 pandemic. The BCCI has already announced that all 10 teams will play home and away matches next year. Information passed on to state associations and franchisees.
In other words, the yellow shirts are coming back to their ancestral home in Chepok, Chennai. Maybe Dhoni’s retirement past 41 will be the IPL season next year. BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said that it is hoped that the first season can start early next year. The BCCI is trying to organize a full domestic season for the first time since 2020. The Under-15 girls ODI tournament will also start from this season and will excite the Indian cricket lovers.
