On Friday, Iran categorically denied reports that nuclear sites in Isfahan were being targeted.
The Iranian news agency reported, “The Iranian Supreme National Security Council denies the occurrence of any foreign attack on Iran or the targeting of nuclear sites in Isfahan.”
She indicated that the sound of the explosion that was heard in Isfahan was caused by the destruction of three small drones by activating the air defense system.
She added, “Three small drones were seen in the sky of Isfahan and around the Zardanjan area around four in the morning,” indicating that “after seeing these small planes, the air defense shot down these drones in the sky.”
In addition, Iranian Civil Aviation announced the cancellation of restrictions on airports and allowing airlines to carry out scheduled flights.
