As “Armenpress” informs, Iran’s oil minister informed Shana information company about this, summarizing the assembly with the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, Koli Sanosyan.

“Negotiations on the transportation of gasoline from Turkmenistan to Armenia have begun, and we are going to quickly obtain good outcomes on this regard as a result of excessive capability of the nation’s gasoline community. At the moment, in the course of the negotiations, good agreements have been reached relating to the rise within the export of gasoline, petrochemical merchandise and complete improvement of mutual relations,” Oji mentioned.

Through the assembly with Kenel Sanosyan, Javad Oji expressed readiness to extend the export of gasoline by the Nationwide Fuel Firm of Iran to neighboring Armenia.

In 2004, Armenia and Iran signed a gas-for-electricity change deal, primarily based on which Iran will export gasoline to Armenia for 20 years, and in return, Iran will import electrical energy from Armenia.
