Iran Calls for International Action to End Israeli Offensive in Gaza

During the 12th annual summit of the Caspian Five in Moscow, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdullahian urged for an immediate halt to Israel’s offensive in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized the need for the active involvement of international organizations to hold the occupation regime accountable for committing genocide in the besieged territory.

Amir-Abdullahian highlighted the atrocities committed by the Israeli regime, citing the deaths of over 16,000 innocent Palestinians, including women and children, since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa. He called for the punishment of the “war criminals” of the Zionist regime in the international court.

Furthermore, the Iranian Foreign Minister urged for measures to show solidarity with the people of Gaza, including stopping the export of goods to the Occupied Palestinian Territories and boycotting goods made in Israel.

“The war crimes and human rights violations in Gaza cannot go unpunished. It is imperative for the international community to act and bring the perpetrators to justice,” Amir-Abdullahian asserted.

The summit of the Caspian Five, comprising the foreign ministers of the five Caspian Sea littoral states, provided a platform for discussions on regional issues, including the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Amid escalating tensions, the call for international intervention to end the Israeli offensive in Gaza echoes the sentiments of many nations seeking a resolution to the crisis.
