Iraq is India’s third largest oil supplier in a month

/ Reuters revealed on Saturday that Iraq ranked third on the list of major suppliers of crude oil to India during December of last year.

It added in a report that Russian oil constituted a third of India’s total oil imports in December, making Moscow the largest supplier of crude to New Delhi, with exports amounting to 9,561,014 metric tons, or 69.795 million barrels.

She indicated that Saudi Arabia ranked second with exports amounting to 5,986,945 metric tons, or the equivalent of 43.704 million barrels.

She added that Iraq ranked third with exports amounting to 5,129,418 metric tons, or the equivalent of 37.444 million barrels.

She said the list of suppliers also included the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Kuwait.
