Iraqi prime minister hospitalized after missile attack on his residence

A rocket fell on the residence of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi. The attackers used a drone, which was quickly intercepted.

Al Arabiya TV reported that the politician was hospitalized with injuries. Several of his guards were also injured.

Eyewitnesses said they heard the sounds of gunfire in the so-called “green zone” of Baghdad, where the US embassy and diplomatic missions of other countries are located.
