/ The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced today, Wednesday, that Iraq came at the forefront of Arab countries in the number of visitors during the month of February 2024.

A table of the ministry, seen by Agency, showed that “the number of Iraqi visitors to Turkey during February amounted to 66,905 tourists, an increase of 3.54% over the same month of 2023, which amounted to 66,128 tourists, while it decreased by 4.28% over the year 2022, which The number of Iraqi tourists reached 72,824 tourists.

The ministry also added, “Iraq came at the forefront of the Arab countries in the number of tourists to Turkey during February of this year, followed by Saudi Arabia second with 45,069 tourists, Lebanon third with 17,887 tourists, and then Kuwait fourth with 17,868 tourists.” Then Jordan is fifth with 17,375 tourists, the Emirates is sixth with 5,524 tourists, and Qatar is seventh with 3,129 tourists.”
