jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chairman of the Indonesian K2 Honorary Association (PHK2I) Sahirudin Anto said the central government had shown its support for non-ASN personnel.
This support makes K2 honorees in particular feel enthusiastic again to fight for ASN status.
“Honorary elementary/middle school graduates can be appointed as PPPK 2024 if the regional government has a strong commitment,” said Sahirudin to JPNN.com, Thursday (18/4).
He considers the completion of honorary staff until the end of December 2024, which is mandated by Law Number 20 of 2023, to be the biggest test for the regional government.
Are they really serious about completing it or are they even using honorariums as a 5-year political tool?
If it is serious, said Sahirudin, the regional government will appoint all its honorary employees to become ASN PPPK. On the other hand, if the aim is political, then the existence of honoraria will be maintained.
He gave the example of the K2 honorary issue which has not yet been resolved. K2 honorees who have served for decades should receive special treatment by prioritizing appointment as ASN PPPK.
K2 honorary staff have served in government agencies since January 2005 until now.
