Fatorda: Kerala Blasters coach Ivan Vukomanovic has said that the toughest fight of the season was against ATK Mohun Bagan. Vukomanovic also said that he will face ATK Mohan Bagan in the inaugural match of next season in Kochi.
ATK Mohun Bagan hit the ball to the Kerala Blasters’ happy face when it was confirmed that they had made amends for their defeat in the opening match.
In the inaugural match of next season, they will face ATK in front of a packed crowd in Kochi. No wonder Adrian Luna’s wonder goals. Vukomanovic said the referees were the most disappointing of the season.
The Blasters’ next match is against top-ranked Hyderabad on Wednesday. The Blasters beat Hyderabad by one goal in the first quarter.
Sandesh Jinkan apologizes
Sandesh Jinkan has apologized for making controversial remarks during the match against Kerala Blasters. Jinkan said he would try not to repeat such mistakes. Jinkan’s controversial sex-seat mention came after the thrilling match against Kerala Blasters ended in a two – goal draw. With this, the criticism that Jinkan had insulted femininity and blasters increased. Jinkan apologized on Twitter for deleting his Instagram account without holding back.
Jingan also demanded that he stop abusing his family members, including his wife, for his words. Jingan, who joined ISL through Kerala Blasters, joined ATK Mohan Bagan last season. With this, the number 21 jersey of Blasters’ Jingan was retired in his honor.
