The Embassy of Israel and Israel’s Economic and Trade Mission formally launched the Israel Exhibition Pavilion at Cybersec Asia on Wednesday,February 4,2026,showcasing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions from 12 leading Israeli companies. According to a senior official from the Israeli Economic and Trade Mission, cybersecurity collaboration and investment between Israel and Thailand have experienced consistent growth over the past four years. This increase coincides with heightened awareness of cyber risks across both the public and private sectors, and also within Thai government agencies.
“In response to this trend, Israel is working closely with Thailand’s National Cyber Security Agency [NCSA] to share knowledge and expertise,” the official stated. This partnership aims to equip Thailand with the tools and strategies necessary to mitigate increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks.
Israeli Expertise in demand
Currently, half of the Israeli companies exhibiting at Cybersec Asia are already actively operating within Thailand. These firms are providing critical support in safeguarding personal data and vital assets, particularly within the banking sector, for the past two to three years.
Israel’s extensive experience in combating cyberattacks – having consistently ranked among the most targeted nations globally – positions it as a valuable partner for Thailand. “As one of the most cyber-attacked countries in the world, Israel has developed significant expertise, which we want to share with Thailand,” the official explained, emphasizing the increasing presence of Israeli cybersecurity firms in the country.
A Collaborative Approach to Global Security
Looking ahead, Israel views cybersecurity as a field best navigated through collaboration, rather than competition.All stakeholders,the official noted,share a common objective: countering the escalating threat of global cybercrime.
Israel has been proactively engaging with Thailand for the past six months, solidifying this commitment. in August 2025, a joint three-day cybersecurity workshop was organized by Israel and the NCSA, attracting over 150 participants from both the public and private sectors. further strengthening ties, the Israeli embassy facilitated a study tour in December 2025, bringing 30 Thai cybersecurity executives to Israel to examine the nation’s robust cybersecurity industry firsthand.
