ISRO Rocket Launch Pad Foundation Ceremony with Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Stalin

No paddy: While ISRO’s second rocket launch pad is to be set up at Kulasekharapatnam, it has been reported that Prime Minister Modi is going to lay the foundation stone for it on the 28th. Chief Minister Stalin is expected to attend the event. Despite various political differences, the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Stalin will participate in the event.

Prime Minister Modi will tour Tamil Nadu on 27th and 28th. He will participate in the BJP general meeting to be held at Palladam in Tirupur district on the 27th and will stay at the Indian Air Force Base in Sulur that night.

Rocket launch pad: ISRO is setting up a rocket launch pad on 2,233 acres at Kulasekaranpatnam near Tiruchendur. The foundation stone ceremony will be held on the 28th at 11 am at Tuticorin Vausi Port Complex.

To participate in this, Prime Minister Modi is coming from Sulur, Coimbatore to Tuticorin Vausi Port by Indian Air Force helicopter. Later, Kulasekaranpattinam launched rocket launch pad and Vausi port expansion work.

ISRO chief Somnath had already met Chief Minister Stalin regarding the rocket launch site. ISRO has decided to set up the country’s 2nd rocket launch pad at Kulasekaranpattinam and has taken steps to do so. About 2,300 acres of land has been acquired by the Tamil Nadu government and handed over to ISRO.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Stalin will participate in this function along with the Prime Minister. Politically, DMK-BJP have been having differences of opinion. The conflict has started to increase after the election. It is in this situation that Chief Minister Stalin and Prime Minister Modi share the same platform.
