Agnė Šaltenytė, Head of Marketing Group of Lithuanian Airports, explained that the delays were directly linked to the challenging weather conditions. “Due to intermittent intense snowfall during the day, individual flight delays occurred,” she stated. “Airport teams are working in an enhanced mode in order to ensure flight safety and the smoothest execution of operations. In the near future, if unfavorable meteorological conditions recur, the impact on flight schedules may be felt.”
