It is not clear and clear where, when, why and how the concept of the 2nd or 3rd Republic became a stereotype, which probably caused an unnecessary temptation to create the 4th one as well. The point is that there is no such thing in Armenia and it cannot be. The reason is very simple: if the foundations for founding, maintaining and developing the state, that is, the national goals and value system of the Armenian people, have not changed, and in the case of Armenia they have been unchanged for at least two millennia, then the serial numbering of the republic (state) according to the social structure, or to change the legal system of administration is at least unfounded, if not to say, it is a complete joke.
Even more so, this applies to the last 100 years, when the Armenian people have never abandoned their national values, nor their goals of living and developing on their historical territory.
He did not give up even during the Soviet Union.
There are many examples, but let’s mention only three.
– The Soviet Union’s initiative to reunify Western Armenia after the Great Patriotic War,
– First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Armenia Harutyunov’s efforts to reunite Artsakh with Armenia, including the petitions addressed to Stalin,
– The construction of the Armenian Genocide Memorial during the Soviet Union.
Therefore, it is not important at all what was written on the papers, or who and what they were forced to write. The main thing is that the nation that founded the state did not and will not undergo any change in its collective desires and ideas.
In short, the consecutive numbering of the state (republic) according to its public legal system, or the change in the administrative structure, is simply an anachronism.
It is a monarchy, a religious monarchy, a republic, Soviet or bourgeois, it doesn’t matter, the Armenian state is a state, and there is no 1st, 2nd and 3rd…
