Berlin – The days when cars had a lot of space on Unter den Linden are over. So that the roadway can be rehabilitated, the first barriers were put up on the boulevard in the east of the city center on Thursday morning. Anyone who wants to drive east from Wilhelmstrasse has since found themselves on a severely narrowed road. While two lanes were previously available for individual traffic and one bus lane, there is now only one lane for all motorized traffic. It is flanked by a cycle lane.
