RA Deputy Ministers of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan and Kristine Ghalechyan received the delegation led by Deputy Director of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Guan Jiaxin.
The deputy ministers were interested in the company’s opportunities, international experience, and implemented projects.
“CCECC” deputy director Guan Jiaxing presented in detail the history of the company’s establishment, its experience in the fields of road construction and railway transport, successful projects implemented in Asia, Europe, Africa and America.
Christine Ghalechyan was interested in several types of tunnels built by the company in different countries and their advantages.
Armen Simonyan presented the current situation in the railway sector, the priorities of the state, emphasized that it is necessary to solve the problem of unblocking transport communications and improve the existing infrastructures, develop them and bring them in line with modern standards.
It was agreed to continue the meeting-discussions in order to get a better understanding of the current state of the transport and road sectors in Armenia.
During the meeting, a number of other issues of bilateral interest were discussed.
