At least 170 people have been killed in clashes over land disputes in Sudan’s southern province of Blue Nile, officials said.
Land disputes between the Hausa tribe, native to West Africa, and other groups have erupted, with both sides attacking each other fiercely.
In just two days, 170 people including women, children and the elderly were killed in the conflict. Also, more than a thousand people have been displaced due to violence-related incidents.
